Job Description


In this position you will be responsible for the controlling and steering of the Finance, Human Resources and Facilities Divisional targets and results. You will become an integral part of the business department’s team and add value through steering and consulting with your business partners. This involves understanding and reporting on the key drivers influencing the Headcount, Budget and Cost per Unit of the divisions you are responsible for.


You will be responsible the controlling and steering of your businesses planning processes (Long range plan, Budget, Forecast and Month end). You will be responsible for the month end process including the accounting, variance analysis and reporting of results to the department and its management. You will hold cost centre manager meetings to provide current status as well as plan for future topics. You will be responsible to actively steer, report and implement any measures required to achieve your division’s targets over the current year and over the long range planning period.

You will actively investigate and advise on potential efficiency improvements, cost savings and productivity measures through analysis of data and through discussions with the relevant personnel within your business. You will also be responsible to support in any financial evaluations, projects or proposals and provide guidance on the most profitable or cost efficient mechanism.

You will be responsible to enforce company and tax policies, through training and guidance. You will also support the business in terms of compliance and assist in the identification and implementation of internal controls to reduce any potential financial losses.


B.Comm Financial/Accounting, Engineering or similar degree, (B.Comm Honours is preferable);
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Powerpoint) would be very advantageous.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
