Artisan Production: Grade A to C (Electrical) (Heavy Current)

A valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB). Perform standby duties and overtime on request.
Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in electrical (Heavy Current).
Be able to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Be conversant with the requirements of the Machinery and Occupational Health and Safety Act. Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Grade A: No experience after obtaining the relevant trade certificate. Grade B: At least 18 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate. Grade C: At least 34 years appropriate/recognisable experience in the area after obtaining the relevant Trade Test Certificate.

Supervise Handyman and Tradesman aids. Perform routine inspections, general repairs and oversee the preventative maintenance programme. Manage outsourced contracts and drawing up of minor contract specifications. Maintenance and service of Hospital plants and equipment. Human Resource Management of staff, compilation of reports and statistics and general administration. Manage Disciplinary Procedures.
Grade A: R 190 653- R 211,596 per annum, Grade B: R 224 574- R 249 246 per annum , Grade C: R 262 176- R 324 708 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
